As part of this year's plans to support their entry as finalists in the RHS Britain in Bloom competition, Blooming Haddington is organising a Community Wheelbarrow competition. Schools, groups, businesses and individuals will be encouraged to take part to take part. The event will offer several entry categories with the entrant responsible for their planting theme. The judging is likely to take place in August.
The Community Chest award will help towards the cost of advertising and printing and the purchase of wheelbarrows for some groups who may need financial assistance.
