Club Meeting

We were also delighted to welcome a number of fellow Rotarians from Edinburgh as visitors to our meeting: 

Olive Geddes, Stuart Monro, Jackie Grigor, Fergus Gillies, Christoph Crepaz, Malcolm and Heather Shanks, Diana Buchan and Martin McMenigall. 

We also welcomed Stuart Gibb and Frances Wright from the Haddington and Lammermuir Area Partnership.

It was a pleasure to induct two new members to our club – Neil Forbes and Bob McKinnon.

Neil (left) and Bob (right) were inducted by our Membership Chair - Andy Bennetts and were then warmly welcomed to the club by President Louise Begbie.

We look forward to the fellowship we shall share with them and also for their help in carrying out our projects to make our community, our country, and our world a better place in which to live.

Our speaker for the evening was Stuart Gibb from East Lothian Council who gave an excellent and informative talk about the structure, function and organisation of the Haddington and Lammermuir Area Partnership and the valuable service it provides to support our communities.
