20 people from Rotary in London including the group from Tower Hamlets took part in the Cenotaph Parade which consisted of 10,000 civilian and military marchers. This is Rotary's second year in the event. The Queen and members of the Royal family laid wreaths as did senior politicians. As IPDG I laid a Rotary wreath which was commented on by David Dimbleby in the TV report. Prince Charles took the salute as we marched past in Horseguards after the main ceremony. Prince Charles left in the no-number-plate Rolls Royce after taking the salute.
