2025 Pinner Rotary Village Show

Thank you to all who supported this year's Village Show

The sun shone on our most successful Village Show to date. We estimate around 4,000 people attended throughout the day, many of them making a donation to support our fundraising efforts. This helped to raise just over £10,000 for Pinner Rotary supported charities, including Paul Strickland Scanner Centre and CVSS (sailing for people with disabilities).

Our local MP David Simmonds was there to welcome the public and he visited many of the stalls and attractions with his family. Later in the afternoon we were joined by the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel, who presented the winning art competition prizes to pupils from Pinner Wood School and was escorted around the stalls by London Rotary District Governor, Adrian Faiers.

The show was opened by The Brass Foundry brass band, and Simply Gray rock band brought it to a close. We also had two performances by Bollywood dancers Epika Dance to Inspire, who successfully got the audience to join in their workshop. David Wilde held his audience of young children spellbound with the traditional Punch & Judy puppet show.

We had over 50 volunteers on the day making sure the show ran smoothly, with St John Ambulance providing first aid cover, the local Met Police present giving advice and Radio Harrow providing the PA system and music.

The Village Show is organised by Pinner Rotary as a service to the local community and as a charity fund raiser. Our main source of fundraising comes from programme advertising and donations.
