Thank you to all of you who supported our Pinner Rotary Village Show on Saturday 10th September. Sadly Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away on the 8th September, but we went ahead with the event as a means of bringing our community together at a time of public grief and recognising the important role the show plays in raising much needed funds for many charities.
We were delighted to welcome David Simmonds CBE MP who led a two minute silence as a mark of respect before formally opening the Show, and Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Janet Mote who drew the lucky programme prizes.
The show made a profit of £5,650: this will be distributed to a number of charities and good causes including our President's charities, Harrow Young Carers and Northwick Park Renal Dialysis Unit.
