19 Feb 2016 Regular visit to Falkirk Food Bank

President Nominee Margaret Gray hands over a cheque to Falkirk Foodbank to aid the purchase of “Dollies” (That’s the wheeled variety of a pallet and not a cuddly toy).

It has been agreed that RCF will donate to the Foodbank on a monthly basis. Donations will be collected on the last Thursday in each month.

Falkirk Rotary Club

The Falkirk Foodbank would like to thank the Falkirk Rotary Club for all the financial help and Christian support we have enjoyed over the last few years.

In total the Rotary Club has donated 568kg of food as well as financial support.

As you are aware the Rotary Club recently helped the Foodbank by purchasing blue storage crates, these provide to be a life saver as we needed these when we did our recent Tesco food collection.

Each week, since May 2014, our IPP and other members have been able to take to the Food Bank in Falkirk a sizeable donation from Club members.
