The secretariat team hold key positions in the work of the club council and are the guardians of the constitution. The council depend upon them for expert knowledge of procedures and of the relationship between the club and the District Council. They aim to encourage attendance and participation at the council meetings and to promote fellowship within the club. Their duties cover all business connected with council meetings including the making of arrangements for elections. In addition, they are responsible for the keeping of club's records and for the compiling all returns to the district.
