New Woodlands School

New Woodlands School

Earlier this year The New Woodlands School, who are a local special school which supports children from 5 to 14 who have Social, Emotional & Mental Healthdifficulties, contacted us asking for help in purchasing electronic tablets as a teaching aid.

We visited the school and on 6thMarch were pleased to donate 8 Samsung tablets, 5 from our Rotary Club and a further 3 donated by two individual members.

Our association with the school has led to us arranging to take a number of pupils, accompanied by their carers, to Rotary’s “Kids Out” at Chessington World of Adventure on 13thJune
