Lewisham & Penge Rotary Club visit Goldsmiths Hall

Lewisham & Penge Rotary Club were invited by the Mayor of Lewisham to join Councillor Obajimi Adefiranye (Jimi) in a visit to the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths for Lunch and a tour around their Hall.

We were allowed to join a coach travelling to the Hall provided by Lewisham Council from Lewisham Civic centre. On arrival at Goldsmiths we were treated to tea and biscuits prior to the tour around the building which included a history of the Goldsmiths Company. Our tour around Goldsmiths was lead by their Deputy Clerk.

Promptly at 1.00pm we were invited into the Drawing Room were we enjoyed a fabulous lunch.
