SUPPORTING EDINBURGH WOMEN’S AID!

It was a great pleasure to welcome Margaret Patrizio from Edinburgh Women’s Aid to our meeting and to formally present her with our donation of £900 to their excellent cause!

Margaret Patrizio of Edinburgh Women’s Aid receiving a cheque for £900 from Gordon Young, President of Edinburgh Rotary.

It’s a sad fact that each year, at Christmas time, women in Edinburgh have to flee their homes, often with their children, and Edinburgh Women’s Aid provides a safe refuge for them and their families.
The funds we donated were used to buy gift vouchers for these unfortunate women to allow them to at least treat themselves and their children over the festive period.
We are delighted to continue supporting this very worthwhile charity in its much-needed work.
If you would like to help local charities like this then why not join us?
Come along to one of our meetings or events. Everyone is welcome - just drop us an email on membership@edinburghrotary.org.
