Clackmannanshire Primary Schools were invited to take part in the Rotary Club of Alloa Literacy Award on the theme of "Why I like living in Clackmannanshire".
The Rotary Club of Alloa held another successful Primary School Quiz with fourteen schools taking part.
It was a close run contest up until the tenth and final round where it ended with a tie between Tillicoultry P.S. and Strathdevon PS (last year's winner). After a tie breaker round, between the two schools, Tillicoultry was pronounced the winner and the team was presented with the trophy by President Celia Norton. Both schools will go on to take part in the Area Final on a date to be announced.
The President of the Rotary Club of Alloa, Celia Norton, presented Treasurer Robert Anderson and Secretary Ray Gill each with an engraved Quaich to commemorate their long and dedicated service to the club as Senior Club Officers.
