Our Pensioners Lunch this year was held on 24 March at The White Swan in collaboration with the Probus Club of Duns.
Rotary & Probus Pensioners' Party 2013
On Sunday 24 March, the White Swan Hotel was the venue for the annual pensioners' party hosted by the Rotary Club of Duns, this time with the support and able assistance of the Duns Probus Club. 63 senior citizens sat down to a three course Sunday lunch served by a bunch of enthusiastic amateur waiters dressed for the part in white shirt and black bow tie. Other equally enthusiastic amateurs invaded the White Swan kitchen to help with the washing up.
After the meal was over, veteran entertainer Ronnie Cryer called the bingo numbers in a session that included, as well as the usual
