The key factors for Foundation Committee in 2010-11 are
First - To work towards a goal where Duns Rotary Club contributes the equivalent of $100 per Rotarian per year to the Annual Programmes Fund (TRF). This way we can play our part in helping ensure that there are funds available to support District and Global Grants. This will be achieved through a combination of initiatives.
Second - Support the End Polio Now project. To maximise the matching support from the Gates Foundation each Rotary club as been set the target of contributing $1000 a year for each of the next 3 years.
Third - To ensure the success of both the District and Global Grants We have a district grant application for Mary
more Our 'Pick a Fence' cross country event, held on 19/9/10 at the Aitken Walker Livery Centre, raised £2,200 for The BGH Kidney Dialysis Unit.
