The International Committee is resposible for our relationships with our Contact Clubs: Poitiers Futuroscope in France and Darmstadt Kranichstein in Germany. The Committee organises events to raise funds to enable us to entertain our contact clubs when they visit the UK.
The Committee is also responsible for seeking out international humanitarian projects which can be supported by the Club.
A programme of "Come Dine With Me" is currently under way to raise funds in a most delicious way and events like the "Italian Masked Ball" to celebrate St Valentine's Day help to raise funds for international projects.
We have recently supported the Malawi Association for Christian Support in their effort to educate and empower women in Malawi who live in remote villages.
We also regularly purchase a "Shelterbox" which is held at the ready to respond when there is a humanitarian disaster.
Each year at Ascension-tide members of the three Contact Clubs meet together and the venue revolves year by year between the UK, Germany and France.

In May 2014 it was back to Poitiers where members enjoyed splendid hosptiality visiting Chateaux, the Theatre de Chatelleraut and the Hennessy distillery in the town of Cognac (with tasting, of course!)
