Dalbeattie Rotary Club donated £1,000 towards the £5,000 renovation costs of the Dalbeattie War Memorial, erected in 1921. President Douglas and senior Club member Alex Scott represented the Club at the Re-dedication of the War memorial shown with the main participants including the newly appointed Lord Lieutenant for the Stewarty, Matthew St Clair, the Lord Sinclair.
