Elm Tree Farm, Icklesham, on the A259 between Rye and Hastings, TN36 4BH
The Rye & District Country Show packs a traditional agricultural day onto Elm Tree Farm at Icklesham, on the A259 between Rye and Hastings. There's a horse show and a dog show, a field of classic cars, and an open-air country fair of stallholders selling local food and crafts — all run to raise money for St Michael's Hospice in Hastings, which cares for families across the area.
Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm, with adults £7.50 and children under 14 free. It's a relaxed, family-paced day on flat farmland rather than a ticketed spectacle — the kind of local show that rewards a slow wander. Icklesham sits just four miles from Rye, a few minutes' drive along the coast road.
