An evening of Fellowship and Food at the Fish Cafe in Rye. The RC of Hastings had a brilliant evening with Chef Paul Webb demonstrating and talking about the food we were going to eat.
Paul had a broken collarbone and his arm in a sling but still carried on in his normal calm manner.
Peter Armstrong even learnt how to open and cut out a scallop. The 25 Rotarians and friends had a good evening together and the staff looked after us very well.
Not only did we have a lot of fun we raised £125.00 for the Wheelchair Foundation, part on International project for this year.
The pictures show Chef Paul and Rotarian Peter Armstrong in full swing with the scallop. It all seemed very easy when he showed us how to do it, also dealing with a crab and plaice.
