Rotarian Peter Georgiadis was guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Sovereign Harbour where he delivered an entertaining talk on his life in Music. Peter has a relaxed delivery and a wealth of stories giving a whole new insight into the workings of an orchestra. Peter spent a large part of his career working in Iceland and it would appear that, partly due to the long dark nights, alcohol was a key element for many of the musicians leading to some very funny stories of incidents unseen by the audience and one or two that were! President Peter Thomas thanked Peter Georgiadis for talking to the club and making so humorous.
The RC of Sovereign harbour is a very new club in our Rotary District who were assisted in their start up by Rotarian Ray Dixon. The members are nearly all residents of the new harbour development and are a fun bunch and very active in their local community and with the other Eastbourne clubs.
