Rotarian and Author Peter Georgiadis of the Rotary Club of Hastings has generously offered his support to the District Governor's theme of Giving Children a Childhood. Club Rotarian Ray Dixon is the District Humanitarian Project Officer responsible for fronting the overseas element of DG Lynn's theme and Peter has donated a number of his books to this cause with the total proceeds of the sales going to Hope and Homes for Children.
The project being undertaken with Hope and Homes for Children is to fit out small family homes in Romania for children who have disabilities or special needs that prevent them returning home or being adopted when the "Children's Institutions" are closed down.
Peter's books are novels set in the First World War which have a thrilling plot and are historically accurate weaving the story line into the horrific back drop of the war
