All too often we hear the response no I am not a Rotarian "I am just a Rotary wife" this is invariably far from the case and many wives and partners give tremendous support to our club.
Hazel Stewart has been a great supporter of the Rotary Club of Hastings. During her husband Mike's year of office as President she spearheaded his campaign for Sri Lanka which achieved a Foundation Matching Grant providing computers for a Girls School and separately for the local community. To achieve this she held monthly dinner parties for up to eighteen people.
