The first of the Cinque Port raids
Cinque Port Raids - RC of Sandwich
President Brion Purdy of the RC of Hastings has decided that in his year of office he would like to "raid" all the other "Cinque Port Clubs" on Tuesday 13th September the first raid took place on the RC of Sandwich, sadly in Brion's absence as he was on holiday in Scotland.
The merry band of Hastings Rotarians was joined by members of Dover and Romney Marsh Rotary clubs. It is hoped that all the Cinque Port clubs will be able to get together to celebrate the RC of Hastings 90th Charter in 2012.
Rotarian Peter Georgiadis introduced the Hastings Rotarians and Presidents of the other visiting clubs did likewise with much mirth all in good spirit.
The RC of Sandwich had recently held their annual Duck race and was able to present prizes to the winners who were guests of the club for the evening. They also ran a slide show of the event which raised
