Slade Green Foodbank was one of a number of local charities that we were able to support at Christmas, thanks to the generosity of our community. As we move into the new year, demand for their services shows little sign of diminishing as the pandemic continues to have a real impact on the lives of the local community. We therefore decided to take the unprecedented step of committing funds on a monthly basis to help them with their work.
We must pay tribute to the wonderful work of these volunteers, who have given so much to support those in need at what is an awful time in all of our lives. Thank you and well done!
