Members of the club, along with a number of their wives, will join scores of others on the ten-mile walk from Sparrows Lane Eltham, to the home of Charlton Athletic at The Valley. This is in fact the tenth year that Charlton Athletic Community Trust and Charlton legends have walked to raise funds to support the programme but a first for us as a group and one that we are certainly looking forward to.
The Upbeats were formed to provide regular activities and engagement for young people and adults with Down’s syndrome in South East London and Kent.
