Walmer in Bloom Planter

Throughout Walmer and Deal there are planters which at present are maintained by the respective councils.

Deal Rotary Club decided to take on the sponsorship of one in a very prominent position that should ensure that it is seen by everyone coming in and out of Walmer, and thus Deal.

The planter will continue to be maintained by Inner Wheel member Pam Misson, herself a member of the Walmer in Bloom committee who will now have the freedom to choose the colour scheme - blue and yellow naturally.

DRC is happy to be taking on this responsibility which will only serve to highlight their presence in the town.

The planter does not look its best right now as it has just been stripped out of its summer plants and re-planted with spring bulbs and plants.
