We received a letter of thanks for our contribution to the Victoria Hospital Fete from Maureen Bane MBE and thanks were also given at a recent meeting to ourselves and The Inner Wheel.

Michel Dourthe is organising the planting of crocuses next month and is hoping to have schoolchildren and Rotarians to do the planting to commemorate Rotary Day.

Due to the humanitarian refugee crisis, Alison Munn is organising runs of clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags etc. to Calais a nd said all help and required items are welcome.

The two hundred club draw was won by Miss S Whale.
