REBUILDING HOPE
In the aftermath of natural disasters and conflict, you might expect to find families desperate and defeated. But time and time again, when we meet families in the midst of chaos the overwhelming emotion is of hope, incredible resilience and positivity in the face of disaster.
When we met Fawaz, he had turned despair into hope for Syrian children by setting up a school in the camp he lives in. From humble beginnings the school now has six classes, catering for 199 children.
