Bexhill Rotary help with Brownie camp costs

Mike Clark visited 1st Sidley Brownies this evening to present our donation of £250. He met with Gwen Potter who is the leader.

1st Sidley Brownies have 19 young girls aged 7-10 years. The group meet each week at All Saints Primary School, where they benefit from use of the hall, library, playground, and forest school areas, at the time of our visit they were crafting and making gifts for Mothers Day.

Our donation is going towards their stay at the Scout camp site Bushy Wood, Hailsham later this month. The funds will help reduce the costs for families. Whilst at Bushy Wood they will be taking part of lots of activities (https://bushywood.org.uk/on-site-activities/)  as well as visiting Knockhatch, which is next door.

Gwen expressed her delight in being able to put our donation towards making the camp affordable for the girls in the group.
