The atmosphere inside the historic St. Johns Church in St. Leonards-on-Sea was beautiful with more than 12 Christmas trees. Outside, the last chill of November 29th, 2025, surrendered to the warmth and light radiating from within. This was no ordinary Saturday night; it was the much-anticipated Christmas concert featuring the incredible Tenors Un Limited.
The venue itself—St. Johns Church—was a star of the show, its magnificent architecture bathed in soft, atmospheric lighting that provided a perfect, reverent backdrop. Every pew was packed.
The performance was a tapestry of local talent. Pete Prescott, a well-known local musician whose familiar voice and stage presence instantly connected with the crowd, singing Christmas songs.
But the true heart-melters of the night were the youngsters: the talented voices of Battle and Langton Primary School, the winning choir from the Rotary Choir competition. Their clear, harmonies during the Christmas carols and songs with Tenors Un Limited brought genuine, sparkling joy.
The main artists were the voices of Tenors Un Limited who were nothing short of incredible. Their seamless blend, power, and emotional range soared effortlessly through the high arches of the church. They delivered a program rich with festive cheer.
During the interval, the atmosphere truly blossomed. It was a classic community Christmas party with the audience mingling, sipping warming mulled wine and indulging in mince pies and cakes. Importantly, every delicious treat sold contributed to a wonderful cause. The evening wasn't just about beautiful music; it was about giving back, with all proceeds from the refreshments and merchandise dedicated to supporting the vital work of the Pett Level Independent Lifeboat Station.
