This year's Summer Walk was a shortened version of the Catfield and environs circuit we did in 2023, followed by a two course supper at the White Heart pub.
The walking kicked off at 6pm and followed an easy trail through woodlands and fields back to the White Heart pub for our supper. The highlight of the walk was watching a young fisherman land a 10lb Carp, he said he only started that evening's fishing 15 minutes earlier.
Then we were joined by several others who couldn't make the walk and enjoyed a very delightful two course supper and a quiz, set by John Cooper.
The whole event ran very smoothly and big thanks to John Cooper for the planning and organisation.
