Crazy Golf - Hastings

Whites win big at World Championship.....course

The final weekly meeting of the year was aranged as a social special Crazy Golf game at the recently refurbished Hastings Crazy Golf course. The previous weekend had seen the course host the Crazy Golf World Championship so we were set up for big things from our Rotary teams.

The sunny evening was started with a Fish & Chip supper at the kiosk next to the course, getting us all into trim for the upcoming sporting event.

Five teams of four were organised and sent off admidst the perils of the Pirate Adventure golf course. Quite a few hole-in-ones were achived but sadly many tripple plus bogies.

Eventually the clear winners were the President Elect's team, who included the "fixers" the White family who not only had practiced the course the day before but also had a clean sweep on the 19th hole to "Win a Free Game".

Robin Taylor, who had organised the event, gave out the prizes and medals. Mostly all going to the White family, however, Yvonne Cope did win the most "Hole-in-one's" medal.

Well done the Social and Meetings team for their great work during this year.
