Tenors UnLimited at White Rock Theatre

Thu, Nov 21st 2024 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Winners and Runners up Choirs will be singing with the tenors

The Let's Sing Choir competition took place in June of this year and was open to all junior schools throughout East Sussex.   The event was held at the White Rock Theatre where we had over 300 children performing.   The standard was exceptionally high and the judges had a hard time in choosing a winner.  The winner of the competition was Battle and Langton Junior School and their prize was £250 for the school together with a shield and the icing on the cake was for them to perform with internationally renowned classical no. 1 singers Tenors Un Limited.   Because the standard was so high and it was difficult to pick a winner the runners up, St. Pauls CE Academy were also invited to perform on stage with Tenors Un Limited.

The Tenors Un Limited show takes place on the 21st November 2024 at the White Rock Theatre.   The show starts at 7.30 p.m. and tickets are available from the Box Office.   The children are very excited at being asked to perform with them on stage.   They have been rehearsing hard but the Tenors are coming to Hastings on the 13th November for a face to face rehearsal.

The Let's Sing Choir competition is a charity event and proceeds from that competition will go to local charities.   There will also be a glossy souvenir programme on sale on the 21st November and all proceeds will also go to local charities.

Tenors Un Limited are currently preparing for their USA tour where in 2019 they won The Broadway World Best Touring Show Award .  They have had a number one single in the UK with "Who is He" in aid of the Salvation Army.  They bring their own special combination of popular opera, musical theatre, iconic classical and original songs to the world and redefine the perception of a "tenor" in the 21st century.

This will be an amazing show with many heartfelt moments especially when the children are on stage.   This is a wonderful experience for them and one they will never forget.
