Letter from Eastern Seaboard Rotary Thailand

Update on Rotary projects

Dear John,

Please your club is doing well and follow it over Christmas on Facebook, we just had another very successful fundraising Christmas Dinner party at the Siam Bayshore Resort.

We also opened the new Take Care Kids foster home and furnished it so they now have a fantastic home of their own that I am very proud of as it was one of my local projects. Bexhill RC was part of helping them in March 2019 at their old rented home where we gave Nam Neung a laptop as she was doing so well with her education and I’m so pleased she has been selected by her university to participate at Asia Pacific Regional Dialogue for Human Rights 75 at the United Nation conference centre in Bangkok.

Just like you, we have also sadly lost members it is the same here as in the UK I will be President again in July for the 4th time unless someone else stands forward. We have a good team of supporting members.

Please give my kind wishes to Graham Dawson and I hope he is enjoying his new club.

Our meeting is on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at 6 pm of each month at the Siam Bayshore Hotel so I hope we can arrange to meet in October.

I have attached a couple of photos and reports. Take care and stay safe
