President James Slinn was joined by several other members of the club to enjoy the Saturday Plenary Session. The program was a diverse mixture of challenging and enlivening speakers covering Environmental Issues, Global Health, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Earthquake Relief, Banga Dancing, Project partners all of whom delivered with passion.
The event mixed 700 deligates from South, South East and London Rotary districts. There were opportunities to mingle with other clubs and to give support to a wide range of exhibitors in the Showcase room.
The session concluded with a highly entertaining talk by Geoff Miller CBE, England cricketer which was much appreciated by the audience.
The event continues with Cabaret and Gala events on Saturday evening and a further Plenary session on Sunday,
