This year’s Crazy Golf Competition at Hastings was as keenly contested as always by Bexhill Rotarians and their partners and friends. After fortifying themselves with a hearty fish and chip supper they embarked on the Pirate Golf Course.
There were numerous ‘holes in one’ and the tension built up over the evening as to who would be the winner. In the end both Corinne Gadsden and Brian Cope scored 3 aces but Corinne was declared the overall winner with a slightly lower score for her round. Everyone agreed it was a great evening and is looking forward to a rematch next year.
As always the evening was organised by the International Committee and the profit from it goes to support our overseas projects which have included buying Shelterboxes for use in climatic emergencies, supporting water and hygiene in the developing world and, recently, supplying food relief for people in Thailand whose livelihoods have been aversely affected by Covid 19.
