Bexhill Rotary Club support Hastings Music Festival
Rashmika Sathish was the proud winner of the school years 3 and 4 entry for Speech Humorous Verse at the Hastings Music Festival at the White Rock Theatre with her entry entitled ‘My Gran’. Entrants present their verse on stage from memory and the humour is expressed in the vocal timing and tone and not body or facial movements. Immediate feedback on each of the 8 competing entries was given by senior adjudicator Jenny Thornton.
Graham Forster, President of Bexhill Rotary Club who sponsor the event said the performance of these very young people on stage was quite remarkable as well as professional, entertaining and an absolute joy to watch. Graham then presented the prize the ‘Elite Trophy’ to Rashmika.
