On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March Bexhill Rotary Club in conjunction with the De la Warr Pavilion held their annual Ale and Arty Beer Festival in aid of local good causes at the Pavilion..
Club President Paul said “Once again we have been able to provide the local community with an entertaining weekend of music and refreshment. I would like to thank all those attending for their support and look forward to seeing them next year”.
Over 25 micro-brewery beers were on offer as well as 10 ciders from Middle Farm Cider Centre near Firle. Local Bexhill brewers Franklins had 12 ales on offer and the Rotary Club would once again like to thank them for all their support and expertise.
Over the 2 evenings over 600 people were in attendance and were entertained from the stage by some great local bands: The Rockitmen and The Cavaliers on Friday and The Kavemen and MT Vessels on Saturday all of whom played for reduced fees and the Club are very grateful for their generosity. It is hoped that the total profit will approach £3,000.
