The Rotary Club of Bexhill is again helping to coordinate the collection of shoe boxes for Mustard Seed's annual Love in a Box appeal. Rotarians Frank Field and Alan Winship collected 180 boxes from St Mary's Wrestwood Children's Trust and delivered them to Mustard Seed's warehouse in Eastbourne. Boxes are also being collected by ST Richards School Interact Club, residents of the Sackville and as well as RC of Bexhill's own members.
Collections continue until the end of November.
The Mustard Seed Relief Mission launch this annual appeal, taking these much appreciated Christmas boxes to the children of the war ravaged area of the Balkans. The boxes are specifically targeted at children of age groups 3-5, 6-11 and 12 to 15 and are often the only present the children will receive.
Full details can be found on their web site.
