Foal Farm - July 2024

Supporting Foal Farm Country Festival 14 July 2024

Rotary Beckenham together with Bromley, Chislehurst and Addiscombe & Shirley clubs provided 16 volunteers to help at Foal Farm's main fundraising event of the year - the Country Festival.  Apart from manning various stalls and car parking duty, we had our own stall at the Festival to raise awareness of Rotary.

The 2024 Country Festival raised £29,922.42, not far short of the record collection last year; a very good result considering it was held at the same time as the Wimlbledon men’s final.

Anneka Rice, of the '90s TV series "Challenge Anneka", who is a patron of Foal Farm and promoted our Swimalong with a video, kindly visited us together with Denise Hodge, our liaison with the charity.
