Presentations to Charities

Local Charity Presentatations 

We have recently made donations to two charities with the money that was given and raised through the bowls competitions.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity

A cheque for £1,200.00 has been given to this charity, with the specific request that it be used to help/support the staff at Lewisham Hospital.

The L&G NHS Trust Charity included an article on their website which gave details of the donation and the bowls competition organised by Rotary Beckenham.

The Primrose Centre

A cheque for £1,200.00 has been presented to The Primrose Centre. This charity is based in Orpington and provides support to those diagnosed with breast cancer. It depends totally on donations and charitable grants. More details can be seen on their website,
