On February 23rd 1905, a Chicago lawyer called Paul Harris had a meeting with his business colleagues to see what they could all do for the local community.
And Rotary was born.
At Swanage & Purbeck Rotary, like every other of the more than 45,000 Rotary groups in the world, we are today celebrating the 120th anniversary of that occasion, as we look back at what Rotary has achieved in the last 120 years and what can do going into the future.
