The Classic Car Motor Show took place on Sunday 21st April at the Main Beach Car Park (King George's Field) and Swanage & Purbeck Rotary were delighted to be one of the stallholders taking part.
Hosted for the second time by Swanage Carnival, who have taken the event over from Jenny Lazenbury who ran it for many years, it is a fundraiser for Carnival week at the end of July. The event attracts classic car owners from all over the local area and beyond.
Given recent weather, the day dawned bright and sunny, albeit a little windy, and stayed that way, meaning that crowds were able to fully enjoy not only the cars but the community stalls which had joined the event.
The event is one of several pre-Carnival activities that will be taking place and we were delighted to be able to support it. Let's all hope that it was a turning point for the weather this year, which as we all know has been nothing to write home about!
