Fundraising for Nepal
Swanage & Purbeck Rotarians answer the call to help support the victims of the Nepal and Tibet flooding
No one can fail to have been appalled by the horrific landslide and subsequent flooding that has taken place along the Nepal and Tibet border.
Here at home we are trying to do our bit to help the victims, and Swanage & Purbeck Rotarians have been out in the town fundraising to be able to support the provision of important necessities such as shelter, water purification and other basic requirements to the locations at the earliest opportunity.
And thanks as ever to the generosity of the Swanage community and visitors we have been able to fill our buckets whilst collecting outside the Co-Op and in Station Road in the town centre.
For those who missed us today, we will be collecting again next Saturday (5th) so please give what you can to help those thousands of miles away who really need help.
