David Tamcken, from the charity Ghanalink (IW), gave an interesting and inspiring presentation on the work he is involved with in forging closer links with communities in the Isle of Wight and communities in Ghana.
He described the work in progress in creating the ‘Hope’ School in Tamale, a school created to serve the needs of children with disabilities or learning difficulties that the state schools do not address.
His presentation was well received by the members and a cheque for £400 pounds was given in support of his work.
