Club Fellowship - Walk and Picnic

Tue, Aug 11th 2020 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Club Fellowship - Circular walk and picnic meeting at Wootton Recreational Ground at 5pm. Bring your own picnic and chairs.

Meeting arrangements for Tuesday. 11 August, 2020

Start at 5:00pm from Wootton Recreation Ground

Should the weather be inclement we will re-arrange according to likely weather forecast

The walk will commence from the car park for Wootton Recreation Ground which is situated just off Footways.  It is a relatively flat walk, mostly through countryside on unmade roads.  From the car park we head down Norman Road towards the church, then down unmade roads towards Woodside Bay before circling round to return to the car park.  The total distance is approximately 2.5miles.

We can then collect our picnics from our cars, together with a chair, and go straight into the recreation ground to have our food.

Turn right at top of Wootton High Street at traffic lights into Church Road then in about 400m turn left into Footways.  The side road into the car park is up Footways first on left.
