Christmas in the Community with Ryde Rotary Club, we put the Elfs into Yelfs
For Christmas 2013 Ryde Rotary Club agreed to financially support the following local good causes:
The Ryde Sick Poor Fund
The Foyer
Rainbow House
Open Arms
The Foodbank
St. John's Road Centre
With grateful thanks to the CoOp and Tesco's, the Christmas collections were held fover two days at each of the stores.
Saturday 21st at Tesco's saw MJ and NG cover two shifts each of Santa for the children between 10am and 4pm.
The Club provided a come and meet Santa for the children for two days at Yelfs.
Despite the awful weather on the 23rd many smiles were made by putting the Elfs MC and JH into Yelfs in Union Street.
The weather did not improve greatly for the the 24th of December, but with more Elfs in Yelfs with Elf and safety (MB) and JB the day was not at all dull !!!

Santas Grotto in Yelfs Hotel reading room
more Santa will be in Yelf's reading room for the children to come in and have a 1 to 1 talk with him. He will be there from 1pm to 4pm on the 23rd and 24th of December.
Tesco Collection 21st and 22nd December
more Collection. 90 min shifts. 08:30. 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00 and 17:30
Co-Op Christmas collection
more Co-Op Christmas collection. 90 minute shifts on 6th and 7th of December. Shifts start 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, and 17:30
