Ryde Rotary Clubs Christmas Grotto 2011
Last Christmas seems to be a but a distant memory now but in the week prior to Christmas for the first time Ryde Rotary, Ryde Lions and Yelfs Hotel jointly built and ran a Santa's grotto. The members and who took part found great pleasure in seeing the expressions on the childrens faces as they talked to Santa and his Elves. Voluntary donations taken in the grotto raised the sum of 215-89 for Haylands Farm.
One of of the happiest of the many happy customers to see Santa and his Elfs at a free Christmas Grotto run as a joint venture between Ryde Rotary Club, Ryde Lions Club and Yelfs Hotel in Christmas 2011.
