The sun was shining & Rotarians assembled early at Lakeside to prepare to receive the participants & members of the public.
Some were assisting with car parking; other selling programmes; registering crews; keeping the site clean & even cleaning the toilets!
Rotarians were happy in the knowledge that the competitors would have fun in the Dragon Boats; the public would have a great day out with plenty of side stalls & other attractions; & in turn, money would be raised for local charities.
The two Rotary Clubs of Portsmouth & Southsea & Southsea-Castle would like to thank Dragon Boats Events Ltd. for arranging the racing; all the competitors for enthusiastically taking part; the stall holders for providing plenty to do & look at; & of course all the supporters & members of the public for encouragement & support.
