Ace of Clubs Meeting

Our next Ace of Clubs gathering is on 21st May at 18:15 for 18:30 start at The Globe (room furthest from the entrance, and the focus is clear: bringing together volunteers from across our community to support the upcoming Highcliffe Food Arts Festival

So whether you're part of a local group, or simply keen to get involved,
we'd love you to join us to:

* Put your name forward as a volunteer or publicise within your club
* Help shape how we deliver the event (remember that if you support
then others will support your event)
* Connect with others across the Ace of Clubs network 

This isn't just about filling volunteer slots, it's about doing something
special for Highcliffe. 

Duties needing to be covered from Mary are as follows: 

* Marshalling in the High Street to support the traders either at set
up and close down time, a half day slot preferred for continuity Shift times
approx. 6.30am -11.30am / 9.30am-14.30 / 13.30pm - 18.30pm

* Taking a two hour slot in Event Control in the Old School, to be
assisted by a HF&AF committee member

* Monitoring the car park on the Green to allow traders and musicians
to access the Green at the barrier, all people allowed will have been sent a
permit. Help with safe exit of Traders when festival closes.

* Information Tent Volunteers to give information to visitors about
What's On and where to find it. Be contact for lost/ found children and be
contact for Lost/Found property. This area will be overseen by one of HF&AF
directors who will be on hand to give advice when you arrive. Shift times
9.30am - 12.30 / 12.30 - 15.30 / 15.30 - 18.30pm

If you already know you can help at the Food Festival, contact Mary
(readercomm@aol.com <mailto:readercomm@aol.com> ) directly , we'll also be
building the volunteer team on the night to cover remaining slots.

Join us on 21 May. Bring your energy, your ideas, and your willingness to be
part of a true community effort.
