Theme “Service with a Smile”?

This theme dovetails with last year’s theme of “Passion with Purpose” by developing the concept of service in our Rotary activities. It also aligns with the Rotary International President-Elect’s message - ‘Create Lasting Impact’.

Service is Rotary’s Unique Selling Point (USP). It is the cornerstone of our organisation going right back to the day when Paul Harris and his business colleagues decided to try and do something for their Chicago community.

But we have become more focussed on fundraising than service and we need to demonstrate how our USP is relevant to potential Rotarians in today’s rapidly changing world.

Why “With a Smile”. Because if we can’t show how much we enjoy our Rotary, how can we expect to attract new members to join us?
