Barton Jazz & Music from the Shows!

A charity Speakeasy Supper @ Fairthorne Manor YMCA, Curdridge

We are proud to welcome back Isla Croll, a talented jazz vocalist, accompanied by Barton Jazz, a collective of young musicians from Barton Peveril Sixth Form College to entertain us, showcasing their remarkable versatility and musical prowess under the guidance of Brian Postlethwaite, a teacher, pianist and Director of Performing Arts at Barton Peveril College.

All members of Barton Jazz are enrolled in the 'Pop and Jazz' course at Barton Peveril where they receive a comprehensive training and nurturing to develop their musical talents. The collectibe includes Isla, a remarkable jazz vocalist who id currently pursuing her studies at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music. Isla's dedication and passion for jazz vocals have propelled her to this noteworthy institution, where she continues to hone her craft.

In addition to Isla's achievements, the band features a group of exceptionally talented second-year students including, Toby, Theo, Alfie, Felix and Luke. These young musicians are in the process of applying and auditioning for major conservatories across the countey. Their ambition and committment to pursuing music at the highest level are evident in their endeavours to secure placements in renowned music institutions.

Tickets are available via the QR code at £30 per head and include a supper of Beef Bourguignon, dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables or the vegan/vegetarian option of Mushroom and Lentils Bourguignon, all followed by Vanilla and White Chocolate Panna Cotta with seasonal fruits. 

Meal will be served at 7:30pm

A licensed bar will be available

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Hampshire Air Ambulance.
